People often ask me how I can sell the shoes at the prices I do. Well, firstly because I focus on the most popular shoes I don't have lots of models floating around, so I can buy more of the shoes you like and get a better price for them. Secondly I don't spend vast amounts on advertising to keep my costs down, so you won't see a lot of adverts.

As well as stocking all major shoe and clothing brands, the Store is the exclusive outlet for the London Marathon adidas clothing range. There is also an adidas footscan centre, open at all times where you can have a one-to-one analysis with an adidas footscan expert who can recommend your perfect adidas marathon training shoe. Adidas footscan is a sensor pad that analyses the pressure your foot exerts on the ground as you walk or run on it, this is then interpreted by adidas trained staff and your specific footwear needs discussed.

We are a specialist running shop, specialist in that we endeavour to stock everything a runner might need / wish for in as much depth as possible, not specialist in a only for serious runners way. We have a very mixed customer base; lots of new runners looking for guidance in choosing their first set of kit, plenty of long term runners who value a shop dedicated to their sport, and runners from more niche areas of the sport—fell runners, sprinters e.t.c.—who know we will be able to supply them with the correct gear.

Runners Need are pleased to announce the opening of their fifth shop just a short walk from King's Cross station. There are treadmills and video cameras with the latest Dartfish gait analysis software to view customers' running action and recommend suitable running shoes. There is also an extensive selection of technical running clothing, sports bras, watches, GPS & heart rate monitors, books, energy bars, drinks & gels plus free advice and help on anything running related - in fact, everything that runners need!
